TechAsy stands for the combination of Technology and Fantasy. It is what used to be a series of scripts and plays but is now transformed into the web-comic you saw on the main page. The title deals with the two sides as the major factors in the comic. Technology represents the day and era the comic is set in: the modern days of technology; the computer and information age in all it's glory as we know it today. This includes the good, the bad, its history (a little different from normal mind you), and everything we already know about the world. The Fantasy element deals with Gias and Idola. Who are these two? Well they are important names and the reason this story exists. Gias is the Goddess of Mana, the creator of the Earths eight elements and a guide for the Mana that flows around the Earth's living entities such as the animals, humans and Anthros that reside upon the surface. Idola is the god of the void, nothingness and limbo. He wanted to see all that Gias had created destroyed; in short they both battled and Gias claimed victory, banishing Idola to his own state of void. This ,however, came at great cost. Time passes and the story follows the heir of Gias's powers: her son the main character of the comic. During his discovery he must learn to control the elements given to him by birth right, and along with his fellow friends, family and the backing of the Anti-Terrorist Unit (ATU) he must now face an enemy thought of only in the imagination. |
